Harry Burt, a candy maker and confectioner by trade, developed a portable ice cream treat that was soon known as the classic Good Humor bar. Soon enough he had the idea to take his creation to the streets to sell to hungry customers with a sweet tooth. In no time the business bloomed and Burt had 12 ice-cream trucks serving his delicious humor bars.
Humor bars was the first treat sold by ice cream trucks but surely it wasn’t the last as the list expanded every year and the menu plastered on the ice cream truks’ door got longer
